My journey so far

Hi everyone! So I started this blog to talk about food as, after the past few years, I have developed what one might call an obsession on the subject matter! Although not all obsessions are good and healthy. Over the past few years, I overindulged in food. I was a very fussy eater as a child. The day I finally began to try new foods and fall in love is also the day the weight started piling on. Today I weighed in at just under 13 stone. Not the heaviest I've ever been, but certainly still not healthy for a girl barely 5 foot tall. For over a year now, I have been proactively doing everything I could to lose weight. First, I tried Weight Watchers. This didn't work. At first, I felt this plan really helped me with portion sizes, which to be fair it has. Yet it soon felt much too restrictive, especially when it came to sweet treats like the occasional piece of chocolate or ice cream.
